Moussa Dembele scored an absolute screamer in a tighter than expected Europa League match against Anderlecht on Thursday night, to really crystallise the improvement that he has made as a player under the management of Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino.
Another good sign was the goal for Harry Kane which gives him 5 in 8 after a really difficult start to the season.
Both of these players will need to be fit and firing for the game against bitter rivals Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
And, although Tottenham have struggled at times at The Emirates in recent years, we feel that this weekend represents a good chance for them to take something.
Spurs are more resolute under Mauricio Pochettino and, while he may be happy to leave with a draw, the Tottenham forward line now has enough quality and teeth to do some real damage on Sunday (Kick off 16:00 local time).
Son Heung-min is fit again Clinton N’Jie may be fit enough to return to the bench but it may be a little too soon for either to start after injury.
With all this in mind, here is our strongest Tottenham XI for what should be the game of the weekend against Arsenal in North London.
Spurs fans: let’s have your elevens.

Great team if Son replaced Lamela.

agree regarding Son – can’t understand why lamela is part of the selection; still hasn’t made the grade in the Prem, still keeps giving the ball away, still runs up blind alleys and ends up falling over his feet, still not physically strong enough – nuff said?????
