So the bottom line is that Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney are fit after picking up knocks during the international snoozefest.
Paddy McNair will continue his recovery after rupturing his liver in international action. And Ashley Young is also unavailable for selection for this one as his influence in the team continues to wane after a sublime campaign last time out.
But another real positive for Manchester United is that Marcos Rojo is also available after a stop-start campaign.
With so many problems on the left this season we think that this is a real fillip for Manchester United.
The big question in defence now is whether LvG continues with Blind and Smalling in the centre or starts Rojo there and puts the Dutchman on the left, where he performed very well at times last season.
Rojo does look like a centre back in the making to us but against a good side like Everton, United need to be sure at the back so the tried and tested partnership should remain intact for now.
In midfield we would like to see Carrick and Schneiderlin for an hour and then bring Basti on.
So, with the latest injury news in mind, here is our best XI vs Everton.
