‘Very Tempting’: Champions League Winner finally giving in to Manchester United?

This one has been running for so long that a move to Manchester United may ultimately be inevitable.

Because Thomas Muller this week stated that it’s impossible not to be tempted by the money on offer in The Premier League.

The German international, who has long and strongly been linked to a move to Manchester United, says that he would be lying if he said he wasn’t tempted:

“In the end, we should not forget that playing football is our job,” he said. “So people should accept that wages will always play a role in a player’s decision-making. Of course, the wages that are being paid in the Premier League are very tempting. It would be hypocrisy to deny that.

He also goes against the philosophy that the current abundance of cash in certain parts of the game is ruining football:

“I know that a lot of German clubs are unhappy with the Premier League clubs’ spending, but I think it is something good for all clubs in the end. It can only be a good thing for football when clubs invest so much money.”

Muller: Not for all tastes

Muller: Not for all tastes

Muller has played 67 times for Germany and scored 31 goals. He was the top scorer at World Cup 2010 and won the trophy with the Germans in 2014.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is clearly a big admirer but Muller isn’t for every taste – particularly at the reported cost of around 100m Euros.

But you do feel that as long as Louis van Gaal is at the helm Katy Manchester United that the speculation will continue and that the player may very well come to the club.

The prospect of such a big move taking place in January is surely remote.

But we should fully expect intense rumour again as the summer month approach in 2016.

Let’s see him in action.

Manchester United fans: is he ALL THAT?
