What a difference a couple of weeks can make.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was once more under intense pressure after a home defeat to Olympiakos in the run up to the Manchester United game.
But if Wenger has one undoubted quality, it’s his ability to find a result when he most needs it. And the resounding win against The Reds was exactly the antidote that the Frenchman was looking for.
We still feel that Arsenal have age old problems and won’t win the title until they sign a couple more top defensive players.
But the result against Manchester United leaves them just two point off the top of the table and they have every reason to think that they can keep the momentum going against Watford.
Arsenal tend to relish these away games against lesser teams and usually manage to open them up on the break.
Theo Walcott is on fire again and Sanchez and Ramsey should start either side.
With Coquelin, Cazorla and Ozil taking up the other midfield positions, the team is looking rather settled.
So here is our Arsenal XI to do the job at Watford.
