Arsenal are having an up and down time of it this season – which is pretty much typical for them these days.
They are once more beating the lesser teams and scoring goals. We do still wonder whether they have the steel to progress against the big boys this season. But that is a discussion for a different day.
For now Arsenal must concentrate on taking the points at The Emirates against Olympiakos on Tuesday evening.
Their biggest injury concern is Francis Coquelin. He picked up a knee injury and is unlikely to start this one, although he could be ready for Manchester United in the game of the weekend.
With Jack Wilshere still out, we would like to see Ramsey and Cazorla fill the ‘2’ in front of the defence, in what will be a very attacking line up.
Up top Theo Walcott is justifying his starting berth at centre forward with his speed and composure in front of goal.
He will get support from a back on song Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
We are starting The Ox in the other forward position as he patently needs game time.
It’s a must win game after defeat in the first round of games in The Champions League and we think that Arsenal should have enough to win this game with something to spare.
So here is our best XI.
