Manchester United are said to have reached agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the year long loan transfer of youngster Adnan Januzaj.
Sky Sports is reporting that the player has agreed to join the Bundesliga outfit just hours before the German window closes.
JANUZAJ TO JOIN DORTMUND
We understand Adnan Januzaj has agreed to join Borussia Dortmund on a season-long loan from Manchester United.
He has been in Germany this lunchtime and the move is just awaiting confirmation.
and we have the pictures which confirm the move here:
There was a feeling a couple of weeks ago that the player would stay at Manchester United and fight for his place this season after getting a couple of starts in the early stages of the campaign.
But, for all his potential, he still looks a little slow for The Premier League. He needs time to develop and sharpen his wits.
We wonder whether the move might be a pre-cursor to a Manchester United move for the brilliant Dortmund winger Marco Reus.
He only signed a new contract with Dortmund last winter but he is precisely the sort of player that Manchester United needs to speed up their attack and get better service in to the striker.
With Reus and Memphis on the wings, and Rooney and Martial though the middle, the attack would have cutting edge and speed once more.
Manchester United fans: is it a mistake to let Adnan go considering the lack of strikers at the club?
