Arsenal would most certainly be better off this season if they added a top anchor man to the squad.
Yes, Franny Coquelin has been excellent over the last 12 months. But even if he repeats the trick Arsenal could use more specialist knowledge and depth in that area.
But whoever wrote this piece must not be aware of how important and revered this particular star is to his team – and the fans of. Spanish media outlet Sport writes:

The Spain international, of some 77 caps, would be a wonderful signing for Arsenal.
He rules the midfield though technique rather than power.
He is always in the right place at the right time and is a sensational passer of the ball.
But we believe that Arsenal have about as much chance of signing him as I do of getting a game for The Gunners in my preferred position just behind the striker.
While Busquets isn’t the most high profile player at Barcelona, he is one of the first names on the team sheet and, at 27, he is coming into his prime.
It’s very possible that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admires the player but we think that we can put this rumour to bed right now.
Because, unless the Spaniard decides that he no longer wants to play for Barca, then he will be staying put.
