Happy Days

We have to say that, although Manchester United superstar David de Gea may want to move to Real Madrid, he has conducted himself with great class all summer.

It’s not just difficult for the United fans who want him to stay.

This must also be a stressful situation for the lad himself.

But there is still the chance that he will be in between the sticks for Manchester United next season and he seems anything but desperate in his latest Tweet, where he welcomes back his mate Javier Hernandez, who joined up with the squad in America for the end of the pre-season program this week.

Hernandez spent a year at Real Madrid but looks as if he will return to Manchester United and fight for his place this season.

And Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal gave the Mexico international faint encouragement when he said recently:

“When you play a system with two strikers or one striker then you [have to] make decisions and I let Chicharito go but now he is coming back.”

And, to welcome the Mexican international back to Manchester United De Gea Tweeted:

“Nothing better that (sic) having my Bro back”

With so many Spanish speakers now in the Manchester United squad – including countrymen Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Argentinians Angel di Maria, Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero – De Gea must feel torn about his future.

Many to most Manchester United fans will be hoping that he stays – even if it means him leaving on a free at the end of next season.

Let’s hope, for the sake of The Premier League, that both Hernandez and De Gea have a great season at Manchester United.
