Man U

PICTURE: Manchester United’s perfect XI for next season with South American star and the new Vieira?

Please sign me!

Exciting times

Manchester United have, as usual, been linked with a host of top players again this week. And while the exceptional Memphis remains the only deal that has been agreed so far, we sense that more business is nigh.

Nicolas Otamendi

He’s been persistently linked with a move to Manchester United over the last year and he would now appear to be the most likely centre back addition to LvG’s ranks this summer. He’s a tough tackling warrior who certainly won’t weaken the defence and, at 27, he could play a big part at Old Trafford for the next five years.

If he does join the club it could mean an end to the Smalling/Jones partnership which was starting to look pretty decent at the back end of last season.

William Carvalho

The Daily Mail reckons that Manchester United are keen and, while he may represent something of a gamble, he has the potential to be a Yaya Toure or Patrick Vieira style influence at the club. Still only 23, he could marshall the Manchester United midfield for a decade. Carvalho is powerful yet elegant and classy.

Even without any further additions, Manchester United would surely look more solid with these guys in the side. Here is how they could line up.

Manchester United fans: Would these two substantially strengthen the spine of the side?

Comment:I will prefer Morgan Schneiderlin than Cavalho with Firmino behind Rooney and Herrera as the midfielder or Rooney behind Lacaccette.

Comment: If we can bring in Nicolas, Fabinho, Ikar G, Firmino and Lacaccette, this summer all before pre-season, believe me, United wil be a fear factor to play with. Edwood speed things up, all this players are young and wants to play for Manutd, stop going for imposible transfer, same mistake David Moyes did 2seasons ago.

Man utd have negotiate for nearly all the player in Europe yet unable to sign.Gal should try as possible to sign all needed players before the preseason tour. This will enable the team to understand eachother before the start of the season

I prefer Gundogan or Schneiderlin over Carvalho all day long. Schweinsteiger, 31, for a reported £7m is also a nick, but he is now 31 and getting injured on a regular basis. Not sure if his body would allow him to settle in the world’s most physical football league!

    Basically United needs 4-5 players:
    1. Otamendi would well fit with Rojo….both Argentines plus would be another defensive parternship apart from Jones-Smalling

    2. Scheirndelin- Michael Carrick tip of a player…strong…fit..make tackles..eye for a goal…another Southampton player joining Luke Shaw

    3. Nathaniel Clyne- Young…Strong…speeds…great stamina…Englands best right back so far

    4. World class no 9- It could be Cavani or Higuan…sbody to support Wayne Rooney…a very serious goal scorer..one who can hit at least 20 a-season

    5. A goalkepper( depending on De Geas situation)- Asmir Begovic would be a fantastic catch…..Cech would be the best ( with PL and UCL experience)

Bottomline all these signings need to be completed as soon as possible( before summer tour starts) for team to have enough time to bond

utd just needs atrong, eperienced centre half defender,a holding midfilder & a serious striker.otherwise the trophy belongs to utd come next season.
