Deal of the summer? Arsenal make approach for 47 cap international – report

While Diego Costa and Harry Kane took many of the plaudits for their introduction to English football last season, we think that the best signing, in terms of overall impact on a team, was Alexis Sanchez.

Arsene Wenger is not always known for being a master in the transfer market, but Sanchez exploded onto the Arsenal scene from the word go and made all the difference to a side which may have struggled to make top four without his goals, industry and invention.

And Arsenal may be about to repeat the trick if they bring long term target Gonzalo Higuain to the club this summer. The Mirror repots:

Arsenal have made contact with Napoli over a move for Gonzalo Higuain, according to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri.

23 goals in 47 games for Argentina speaks a striker who can make the difference at the very top level. Arsenal currently have a decent crop but we would argue that they still don’t have a player of Higuain’s quality – someone who can carve out a goal in the tightest and ugliest of encounters which can make the difference between winning and losing.

Arsenal definitely need Higuain

Arsenal definitely need Higuain

With Rafa Benitez leaving Napoli this summer Higain may well assess his options and a man of his power must fancy The Premier League. We can’t think of a better player for Arsenal to snap up this summer. The report states that he may cost up to £40m to bring in.

Arsenal fans: worth the cash?

Don’t take notice of any of the WENGER BULL-SHIT, all he will buy is kids that could make it in five years time, Arsenal have just beaten a relegation side in the cup final and Wenger thinks Arsenal
are world beaters, any team in the Premiership can take points off Arsenal. I still think Arsenal need
four quality players and a new manager and then they can mix it with the best.
