David de Gea sends message to long-term Manchester United target

De Gea is on fire

Classy

Manchester United keeper David de Gea has tweeted a message of comfort to his international team mate Iker Muniain, who suffered a serious injury to his knee last weekend.

Muniain, who has oft been linked with a move to Manchester United, after destroying The Reds in a Europa League match at Old Trafford in 2012, was stretchered off the field in his side’s 2-0 defeat to Sevilla at the weekend and the club consequently said that he will be out for around 6 months.

Manchester United star De Gea was among a throng of friends and supporters who took to Twitter to send a message of comfort which read:

Volverás a estar en lo más alto y más fuerte! You’ll be back on top soon stronger than ever my friend! @IkerMuniain19

The classy playmaker looked as if he would become a household name after that masterclass against Manchester United a few years back but his career has stalled somehwat over the last couple of seasons and he has still only played once for the Spain national side.

But, before the injury there were positive signs of his form returning. Muniain has played 24 times and scored two goals fro Athletic Bilbao this season.

We wish him all the best in his recovery.

David De Gea to commit would be one of United’s biggest Summer signing. He wins us around 15 Epl points alone. Let’s then raid Real Madrid for Bale, sign Hummels and Pogba to win the league!
