Arsenal look as injury light as they have in many a month with only Danny Welbeck and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the treatment table right now. Even the brilliant yet tragically hapless Abou Diaby got a run out for the reserve team this week yet, with the number of false dawns he has had, Arsene Wenger clearly didn’t want to publicise this fact.
We await the official injury update from Mr. Wenger in his Friday press conference but both Welbeck and The Ox have a chance of making the squad.
So, with only longer term absentees Arteta, Wilshere and Debuchy still returning to fitness, Arsenal go into the game full of confidence in a crucial clash.
And, by beating Liverpool on Saturday (kick off 12:45 Local time), The Gunners will surely be reducing their competition for a top four spot by one. A win will put Arsenal 9 points clear of The Reds with just 7 games to go.
But Liverpool aren’t done yet and Wenger needs to use his squad wisely.
With Welbeck playing so well of late he would normally be pushing for a starting berth but his knock on international duty means that the in form Olivier Giroud will probably get the nod up top.
Theo Walcott got some minutes in the week and we would like to see him start, but the form of Cazorla and Sanchez means that if Welbeck doesn’t make the game it’s a question of either/or with Ozil and the Englishman. Although it may come as something of a surprise, given the current form of the team, we think that Walcott would add pace and symmetry to the side on the right. So, while Ozil will probably get the nod, we want to see Theo given the chance to find his pre-injury form.
So, here is our eleven for a game that makes footy so gosh darn exciting. Arsenal fans: discuss.

Not a chance! Ozil miles ahead of Walcott and Nacho + Bellerin ahead of Gibbs and Chambers. I would like to see Gabriel but do believe that Wenger will choose BFG. Find it intriguing that you are so keen on English players, they are just not good enough!!!

No chance. Your team is unbalanced.
