The Mirror states late Saturday night that Manchester United’s major target, Gareth Bale is willing to move back to England after a difficult few months at Real Madrid:
Manchester United transfers: Gareth Bale willing to leave Real Madrid this summer if the offer is right
Sunday Mirror Sport understands Bale, 25, is prepared to spend another year at the Bernabeu to try to win over the doubters – but would be willing to come back to the Premier League if the right offer arrives.
Real Madrid’s loss of form since the turn of the year has been difficult to explain. But the Madrid fans seem to be pointing the finger of blame at their world record signing. While his form hasn’t been great of late, Bale obviously isn’t the sole reason for the poor performances.
Yet he has been roundly and regularly booed by the home support and his confidence is shot to pieces. We think that a move to Manchester United is most certainly on the cards this summer, particularly if his form doesn’t improve between now and May.
Bale has scored 36 in 81 games for Real Madrid but hasn’t found the net in 9 and there is a feeling that he is much better suited to the English game. There is little doubt that the lad would be welcomed with open arms to Manchester United. At 25 he can form part of the next great Manchester United vintage and even have a shout at the captaincy in years to come.
Let’s see the lad doing what he does best. Manchester United fans: a perfect signing if it does come off?
