Great News for Manchester United

Patience

The Telegraph reports that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is not interested in loaning out, let alone selling, Adnan Januzaj to any potential suitor.

The youngster hasn’t had anything like as much game time as he did last season and PSG were again credited with an interest this week.

But, in a really great nugget of reassurance for fans of the club and the boy, The Telegraph states that LvG won’t countenance a move of any kind:

Louis van Gaal has blocked attempts by Paris Saint Germain to lure Adnan Januzaj from Manchester United by insisting he has no plans to offload the winger.

and the agent of the player said:

‘…..Louis van goal announced that he (Januzaj) cannot leave this winter. Not as a permanent transfer nor as a loan.’

‘The coach considered him as an important player for the squad.’

Januzaj has had a difficult time this season. If the Manchester United team had been performing as well as ever then you might imagine that the lad would be used most weeks, as a sub at least, until he was fully assimilated into the team. But such has been the poor form of the side, in this transitional phase for the club, that Louis van Gaal is simply trying to get a fully fit and experienced side on the park in the desperate search for the results that will bring a top four finish.

In all likelihood Januzaj will have a big career at Manchester United. He will need to be patient but his time will come. And it’s great to see that Louis van Gaal values him as highly as most Manchester United fans.

Let’s see Adnan in action.
