Frightening

Manchester United fans should be very relieved that David Moyes did one great bit of work when he was at the club. That was of course to sign Adnan Januzaj up to a new contract.

The brilliant youngster hasn’t has a great season and will be frustrated at a lack of first team opportunities. But, in fairness, LvG did give him a three game run in the team in the autumn Januzaj didn’t do himself justice.

His time will come but he may have to go out on loan for a while first. There has been speculation that Moyes would like to take him on loan to his new club, Real Sociedad.

Manchester United may be happy to see the lad get some more minutes but Moyes himself has said that he isn’t aware of interest from his club:

“I’ve read about it but I don’t know where it has come from. It hasn’t come from me,”

But he then went on to remind us all of how highly he rates the Manchester United star:

“Along with Wayne Rooney, Adnan is the best young talent I’ve worked with as a manager,” Moyes said.

“He’s a wonderful player gifted with great balance and the ability to go past people with little ease. When I see his poise on the ball he has characteristics of Johan Cruyff,”

It would be sad to see a lad of this talent leave, even on loan. Although he isn’t getting starts right now he is the sort of player who could come on and change a game with a moment of brilliance.

Adnan just needs to be patient because he’s going to be a superstar.

Let’s see some of his better moments for Manchester United
