Manchester United: Shock January move on the cards for total genius – report

We don’t quite know what to think about this one but it’s been brewing for a while so there is probably some substance to it.

Adnan Januzaj was one of Manchester United’s brightest sparks last season. But under Louis van Gaal the youngster hasn’t kicked on.

If Manchester United didn’t have so many number 10s in the squad then perhaps the youngster would have been given a few more starts in that position. He doesn’t seem like a natural winger because he doesn’t have the blistering pace to get past his man. But he still looks like a Manchester United player to us. Perhaps he is just trying to find his exact position. Anyway, The Daily Mail reports:

Adnan Januzaj set to leave Manchester United on loan as youngster fails to make his mark under Louis van Gaal

Manchester United forward Adnan Januzaj is expected to be loaned out later this transfer window after struggling to be involved in Louis van Gaal first-team plans.

Although we will be sad to see him leave Manchester United, for any period of time, some minutes elsewhere could possibly do him some good. It will give him more confidence and experience to come back to Manchester United a stronger and more consistent player.

But Januzaj has the guile and sense of magic that United fans love and we really hope that this isn’t the prelude to a permanent move for player many expected to become an Old Trafford great.

Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Manchester United fans: would a loan move do the lad some good or would you like to see him get more game time this season in the first team?
