Newcastle will surely be on the lookout for new players to go with a (potential) new manager in January. At least it’s never boring at Newcastle and many of the fans have got their wish with the departure of Alan Pardew.
So what’s all this ‘perfect signing’ talk? Well, latest reports suggest that Newcastle may be able to take Yohan Cabaye back to the club. When you sell a player that you wanted to keep and then get him back for much less money, it has to be seen as a perfect deal. You make money on the player AND get great service from him. And his time at PSG can only have given him more experience, despite a lack of game time.
The part that we don’t like is that PSG apparently want to do a swap deal. The Mirror reports:
PSG plot Newcastle transfer swap sending Yohan Cabaye back to Toon for Moussa Sissoko
There has been way too much talk about Sissoko leaving the club with various teams said to be interested in the midfield dynamo. Most Toon fans won’t want to see this guy leave because players with his broad skill set are few and far between. And a pairing of Sissoko and Cabaye would provide a great balance between aggression and quality in the midfield.
But, it does seem that Newcastle will find it increasingly hard to hold on to Sissoko.
Let’s see Cabaye in action at PSG. Newcastle fans: do you want him back?

Sissoko was as good as gone the moment he had his first MOM. It’s imposible to build anything at Newcastle with these clowns running the show. Allow me to be the first to put pen to paper… ASHLEY OUT…….!!!!!!
To the pessamists I say, there will be a day of reckoning with Cashley and he will ultimately lose. To the optamists I say, Take your heads out of the dark places and look at what Cashley is actually destroying that the Geordie nation took hundreds of years to build.
And finally, to the thumbsdowoners, go and watch 5under1and if you don’tlike or cant understand the truth when it’s slapping you in the face every week.
I want my club back again. Howaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay the Lads.
