Arsenal’s 5 Most Likely January Signings

More signings likely

Arsene Wenger has spoken of his need for reinforcements in January and he surely needs to look at his defence and defensive midfield. Here is soccersweep’s take on who he might sign:

Schneiderlin

The Southampton midfielder has excelled over the last 18 months for club and country and he would be a superb addition for Arsenal – the calm influence in front of the defence that has been missing.

Sissoko

A more adventurous version of Schneiderlin but he can also do a great job anchoring the midfield. We think that Arsenal fans would be really excited to see this lad arrive. Brilliant player.

Cabaye

Another Frenchman who has been regularly linked. Not sure he would be as suitable as the aforementioned but his passing ability certainly suits The Gunners.

Vlaar

A solid and dependable centre back who has vast experience and wouldn’t cost much. What’s not to like?

Nastasic

There has been rumour that Arsenal might go for Hummels. He would be marvellous signing. But we just can’t imagine Arsene spending £30-40m on a defender. Perhaps the young and talented Matija Nastasic would be a more likely recruit. Looks set to leave Manchester City and could do a good job at The Emirates.

Arsenal fans: who do you want to sign most?
