Change Now: For once Arsenal need to be decisive with this world beater signing

We thought it was just weather men who were allowed to get it wrong on a regular basis and still retain their jobs. But it appears that Arsene Wenger has similar working conditions.

In truth Wenger has done far more good for Arsenal than harm. And it will be the hardest decision that he ever makes to finally step away. But he must now do that if he wants to go out with reputation intact.

Because, like Iker Casillas at Real Madrid, his time was amazing, but his time has gone. And now he’s just tainting the memories that we have of him.

Arsenal have a world class stadium and a world class budget – helped in no small way by Wenger himself – but a club of this size simply can’t keep losing every time they come up against one of the big boys. It’s beyond embarrassing. In fact Arsenal can’t even beat a big team through sheer luck these days, in the way that the smaller teams sometimes do.

Arsene has been one of the great coaches of the modern era. But the writing was on the wall for us when Alex Ferguson realised how easy it was to bully Wenger’s side. That was a decade ago and Wenger is still being permitted to assemble the same sort of highly skilful but lightweight teams.

Recently Jurgen Klopp has spoken of his desire to coach in The Premier League. With Liverpool also struggling, it may not be too long before Klopp is at a big club in England.

Arsenal aren’t exactly famous for decisiveness in the market. But they need to be bold here and get Klopp in before they miss that boat too.

Klopp also loves to put attractive teams together. But they tend to have that crucial added quality of grit – the sort of determination that has seen Dortmund regularly beat their richer rivals, Bayern Munchen, to the punch.

We love Arsene but he needs a rest. It’s so painfully obvious and it’s not nice seeing him look so troubled. But he must step aside before he’s pushed. If Roberto Martinez is to remain at Everton then Klopp will do nicely.

Arsenal fans: time for some fresh ideas?

Why is every one recommending Klopp to arsenal? If he is such an infallible coach why is his Dortmund team languishing in the relegation zone in the German domestic league? Is Dortmund not going through some crisis at the moment, irrespective of their seeming success in the UCL group stage? Food for thought, heh!

I just do not get this logic that it is the coache’s fault that players who we sign for 100K a week can make silly mistakes and every finger points at the coach.

Last game did Jack not miss from 2 meters out.. Previous game did Chambers not let his winger walk past him with ease.. The players should take the flack for this not AW..Yes he picks the players but in our criticism lets please note that we are talking second level responsibility. the primary responsibilities for most of our losses this season have been the stupid mistakes of the players especially the “British Core” . We need to try a German Core

Wenger should step aside, he has done well but need to go now because he is loosing it all.
