Liverpool have struggled all over the park this season but the lack of a consistent striker has been painfully obvious. No team on the planet could easily cope with the losses of Suarez and Sturridge and this has been a key factor in the malaise.

Berahino has been on fire this season. Many to most expected his scoring run to quickly stall. But Berahino has gone from strength to strength with 7 league goals in 11 games and 8 in all competitions in this campaign.
Liverpool have been a shadow of their former selves in their build up play this season. It’s been slow and clunky by comparison with last term. Berahino could certainly add pace and urgency to an attack which is currently reliant on the speed of Raheem Sterling to unlock the door.
On the back of his great form, the 21 year old got his first call up to the England squad for the recent internationals and will be devastated that he didn’t get any game time. But a move to Liverpool would raise his profile and his chances with England no end.
The report suggests that Liverpool would have to part with upward of £15m for his services. We think that would represent great value in today’s market.
