PICTURE: Manchester City’s best eleven vs West Ham – Milner demoted?

City Roar

Another really damp squib in the week. After a decent first half which possessed the requisite cutting edge for Manchester City to get their noses ahead they just seemed unsure of how to see the game out in the second half – a symptom which we have seen several times from Manchester City in The Champions League.

But in The Premier league it’s a completely different story and, for our money, Manchester City are easily the most frightening side in the league. Chelsea are efficient and professional but City can blow teams away with the power and pace in their side. Everybody seems certain that Chelsea are going to win the league this season but we still think City are in the box seat in terms of the quality in their squad.

They obviously have to keep the momentum going however and it won’t be easy against a West Ham side who are having one of their best starts to a Premier League season. They really do look convincing at the moment and will most certainly have a go at City as they have very little to lose. Any points will be seen as a massive bonus for Sam Allardyce and his side.

Nasri and Lampard remain the only injured players and the team is starting to have a very settled look about it. So here is our strongest 11 for the game. City fans -agreed?
