Liverpool aren’t on great form but this one will feel like a one off. A cup game that is all about the 90 minutes. And we know that Liverpool have the quality to give a really good account of themselves if they can click.
As for Real Madrid, they are in their best form for years and the departures of Di Maria and Alonso don’t appear to have weakened the side at all. Ronaldo is on fire and Kroos and Modric look as if they have been playing together for years.
Real Madrid have a few injury concerns and there may be a chink in the armour if Liverpool can get on the front foot from the off.
We simply can’t wait for this one.
