Arsenal fans should make the most of their European excursion this season because, based on their current form at home, it may be a while before the club is in The Champions League again.
That is, of course, a somewhat alarmist view. In truth, Manchester United and Liverpool – Arsenal’s two main rivals for 3rd and 4th in the league – don’t look that much better right now.
But it feels as if Arsenal won’t progress until they strengthen in the right places instead of buying attacking midfielders that aren’t called Cesc. In the short term, they should however expect a result at Anderlecht – anything else will be seen as an absolute disaster.
But the injuries are mounting and Arsene Wenger will hoped a patched up side can do enough damage. Despite all the negative press we think that they will pass Anderlech toff the park on Wednesday – The Gunners are good against these sorts of asides.
