Arsenal have already agreed terms on 5 year deal for Powerhouse – report

Perfect addition

This one will run and run until Arsenal actually make the most obvious signing in the history of recruitment.

Earlier this week the Khedira pendulum was apparently swinging towards Chelsea but FIFA Fairplay has generally strengthened Arsenal’s hand of late and reports today suggest that a chat with his fellow Germans national team mates may have persuaded the superb midfielder to come to The Emirates at the end of the season. The Metro reports:

Sami Khedira could be about to turn down a move to Chelsea to join Arsenal instead after holding talks with the Gunners’ German contingent.

Arsenal have already agreed terms on a five-year deal with Khedira, but have not sorted out a fee with Madrid.

The report suggests that Per Mertesacker and Mesut Ozil have both spoken to the lad about how good it is to play for Arsenal. While Mertesacker might mean it, we can’t imagine Ozil could speak truthfully about the unbridled joy that he has had at the club after such bad luck with injury and form.

Nevertheless it’s easy to sell the romance and tradition of Arsenal – a club built from the ground up purely on success.

We also think that the Arsenal team has a more obvious space and need for the player who could become a legend for the club if he proves to be the catalyst for success that we so strongly believe he would.

Add a world class general to that midfield and Arsenal will be a proper team again.

Arsenal fans: do you think you can get this deal over the line?

lets hope these reports are not true we don’t want anymore injury prone players,we need strong players who will add some grit and backbone who are not on the treatment table more than on the pitch.Does anyone else agree?

Hate your uneducated language but entirely agree with the argument. Words ,properly used can be very persuasive but bad language and abuse turns off decent people who may very well agree with your argument. I have been blogging for years to get rid of Wenger and encourage others to join in , which thankfully , many now are doing. If you want Wenger out as much as I do, which is seems you do, then that’s wonderful but please educate the brainwashed Wenger lovers as t
o the many reasons, which you and I very well know and change tactics as to the way you write. You can do much better than this and I urge you to try. Thank you.
