We believe that, for all his talents, Arsene Wenger is the most frustrating coach in The Premier League.
He did win lots of silverware a long time ago. But perhaps his greatest achievement was to keep the club in The Champions League while the new stadium was built.
But now that’s done and Arsenal have cash in the bank he has no excuses. He has to prove himself as a top manager.
And his neglect for his engine room is little short of criminal. We would simply love to ask him directly why he hasn’t bought a top holding midfielder for so long. How could he possibly respond with a credible answer? It’s just bizarre.
In a story that is turning out to be a bit of broken record Wenger has apparently given the green light for a move for Sami Khedira.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have agreed to pay Sami Khedira’s £100,000-a-week wages and will now scuffle with Real Madrid over a fee for the German midfielder.
Having missed out on so many essential purchases in the past, Wenger surely can’t stare this gift horse in the mouth.
A top midfield general in his prime is potentially available and, if they do sign Khedira, Arsenal would be an instantly better and more durable side.
Sort it out Arsene. Bring this guy to Arsenal and the fans may begin to forgive the huge oversight in not bringing one in for so long.

How many times, the invincibles defence was brought in by Wenger. That team could have brought success in any league and in any era over a long period of time.

What rubbish, the invincibles defenseman were all bought by Wenger. Only the first double side was inherited from George Graham. It is a good point about building the stadium and staying in the champions league though, no other team has built a new stadium and not been relegated from there division.

Mr. Wenger, please do all gooners a small favour. Step down and let someone from younger generation who knows well enough about modern football take over from your post. Thank you for your efforts for giving us a fantastic stadium but our club must move on.
