It’s just not happening for Manchester City in Europe yet after another harsh lesson at home against an accomplished Roma side in midweek.
But while City still have much to learn in The Champions League they appear anything but naive on the domestic front. After a stuttering start they appear to be showing some ruhtlessness again and they won’t fear a revived Aston Villa this weekend, even though it could be a tricky away tea-time tie (KO 1730 Local Time).
Edin Dzeko is on good form in the league and will surely get the nod, with Aguero behind him in a two-pronged attack.
James Milner has been used quite a lot recently and may well play against his old club as he adds the defensive solidity which Jesus Navas can lack. Navas may be saved for later in the game when his pace can exploit tired legs.
We would also like to see Eliaquim Mangala resume his formative career at Manchester City after sitting out the Roma game.
Jovetic is back and Fernando could also make the bench.
So here is our XI, fitness permitting, to play Aston Villa on Saturday. Manchester City fans: agreed?

There some things which man city has to know before it gets worse than ever before……..yaya toure is not needed as long ago he has lost intetion from the club and he has to play out manchester for sure and manuel pellegrini should take note on that or else his job will expire early as never thoght…..on the heart of the midfild play fernando and fernandinho and make sure yaya should start from the bench and thats the only solution to make man city strong than ever but with yaya in ubsent minded about city’s game we have to shoot him before he shoots the team as whole
