When will Gareth Bale get a haircut? When will Manchester United fans stop attending games at Old Trafford in order to get rid of the Glazers? And when will Arsenal buy a midfield general?
These are all pressing questions which need an answer but don’t seem to get one.
Arsenal definitely need to buy a powerhouse for the midfield and we think that if they can’t get any of the top tier players on the market and they should at least make a purchase for that area.
Below Khedira and Carvalho you have players like Alex Song and Cheick Tiote who has also been linked to Arsenal.
We believe that both would be good additions for a side which needs a bit a grit….
And reports today suggest that the price has been set for Tiote to leave Newcastle.
The Daily Mail says:
Cheick Tiote can only leave for £14m, say Newcastle after rejecting Lokomotiv Moscow bid
Tiote may not have the sort of bewitching technique which Arsene Wenger obviously loves in his players.
But success in football, like success in life, requires balance.
Real Madrid tried and failed to put together the best team ever, based on individual talent – it didn’t work.
Arsenal too, for all their skill, need a little bit more balance. Some grit with the guile. More graft for the craft.
For that reason we think that Tiote would be an excellent player for Arsenal and the fans would really like him.
Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Arsenal fans: would Tiote take the club forward or should you be going for someone in the Khedira class?

I still dont get it why many of our fans and the management seems to under-rate Tiote. I for one will pick Tiote over all the CDM we have been linked to so far. I dont know if am the only one who thinks Khedira and Williams are been over-rated. The edge i saw them haven ove Tiote is height.
But Tiote offers the aggressiveness of a typical African CDM. The quality that we are obviously lacking. More to that, he is energetic and workerholic, he got pace and sharpness, he is composed on the ball and he is never shy to inflict his long-range shot if he had the space [recall his goal in Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal].
Nevertheless, whoever Arsene later pick out of the three is owk by me. What i wont accept as a Gunner, is him not buying at all.
Lets just KEEP ÐA FAITH
