Arsenal: Another flair signing close as Wenger goes all out attack – report

Another one?

With Arsenal having so many creative players in the team already it’s difficult to know whether there is any substance to this one.

But there have been rumours over the last week or so that Arsenal will make a move for Shaktar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa.

There was much hype surrounding him as a youngster but he has gone off the radar a little bit over the last few years. That said, his last season was probably his best and he looks to have matured into a potent attacking threat at 23.

Costa is a modern footballer in as much as he could fulfil various roles within the team – pretty much anywhere across the front six.

But with Joel Campbell back at the club and Arsenal already having to squeeze Cazorla, Ramsey, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, and Alexis Sanchez into his team, you wonder whether Costa would get that many chances if he did come to North London.

Nevertheless, The Metro reckons that a deal, possibly a loan deal, is on the cards:

Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Brazil ace Douglas Costa from Shakhtar Donetsk as the club look to put the finishing touches to their transfer business.

We think that he would be a decent addition, if a fairly unnecessary one. Let’s take a look at Costa in action. Arsenal fans: any room for this one?

You guys are crazy if you think he is unnecessary.

If you are putting Santi at wing, Ramsey, Jack and god know´s who else who don´t belong…as we did several thousand times last season. He learned his lesson by asking himself hell, what could have Deulofeu done for us last season.

Costa slots in through the middle, on the wing, is a shot taker, and has the X factor:

So sit back and shut it for once…

The team needs a steady back-up, therefore it’s necessy to add all round players on the bench

It will reach that time of the season whereby most of the stars are injured and no experienced player to take the position.we ought to sing costa.

Honestly we don’t need attacking midfielder, all we need is a lethal striker of Henry,Wiltord,Berkhamp and RvP caliber Left back and holding midfielder then sell Diaby and if possible Giroud. No need to send so many players on loan and if it is necessary loaned them till January since it is always busy calendar in EPL from Dec to Feb and that’s where we always fumbles due to injuries and fatigue…
