Barcelona have already spent big bucks this summer and it looks as if they going to continue spending and then deal with the consequences later.
They have already got rid of Fabregas and Sanchez for a combined 76 million Euros. But with Suarez, Bravo and Mathieu coming in, and another massive bid reported this week, they may need to sell again to avoid sanctions.
Barcelona do, of course, have a massive turnover so perhaps they can make one more big purchase without having to sell. Recent reports in Spain suggest that the club has made a last bid for the brilliant marquinhos of PSG.

It is clear that Barcelona see the Brazilian as a priority signing. But they are trying to buy from one of the richest clubs in the world and they may find that this pursuit ends in frustration.
We think a player like Mats Hummels would be a solid and brilliant investment for Barcelona. He may also be easier and cheaper to acquire. Although Dortmund don’t want to sell, every player has a price. The price for Hummels would be much lower than the figures being mooted for Marquinhos.
