Arsenal favourites to sign 51 cap powerhouse

Khedira - Free agent

Play it again…

With news this week that Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Sami Khedira from Real Madrid the odds on him moving to North London this summer have tumbled.

Just a few weeks ago they were out at 6/1 to sign the brilliant midfield dynamo.

And, whether due to the hype, or because Sky Sports have some inside information on the move, Arsenal have now come in to odds on favourites to sign the player this summer with SkyBet at 5/6.

Arsenal fans will be happy enough that they have signed Alexis Sanchez. But to bring in two players of this quality to Arsenal in one summer is unprecedented in the modern era. You would have to go back to when Arsenal were actually winning things on a reg to find such good signings in a close season.

So, perhaps this will be the breakthrough summer for the club. We believe that the signing of a top quality central midfielder would be even more important than the addition of Sanchez. Arsenal need a battler and someone to make them more diffiuclt to play through – and it would be difficult to find many players batter at this than Khedira.

To call him a holding midfielder would be a disservice to the player. Anyone who saw his performance against Brazil will know that he was one of the main catalysts for that result. He was absolutely everywhere on the night, shielding his defence, getting tackles in in the middle of the park and setting up and scoring goals – Khedira could better be described as an ‘omnipresent midfielder’. Yes, we much prefer that. To see him playing like this against Brazil after months out of the game was truly incredible.

Anyway, if Arsenal can do this deal along with Debuchy and Remy (although that one may be going south) they will, at last, be true title contenders come September. They will have a superb team and a superb bench.

Let’s see Khedira. Arsenal fans: the dream ticket?

Why the hell Remy – Campbell is better – rather keep him… however neither of them are up to playing in such illustrious company – we need a top class CF. What we have – Giroud, Campbell, Sanogo and anyone else are all below par for a potential arsenal side of the next season. WE might as well have kept Bendner – he was better than all of them.
No way – buy a top cf!

We need Khedira he is a world class midfielder.he. will add gud quality to our midfield.it is the area we been having problem with since the selling of song.we also need remy to add power upfront where we also had problem with this gone season. remy is a gud goal scorer better than Giroud with his ability to keep the ball n create much problem for his opponent. signing him would be smart choice n let wenger bring back campbell he is gud n has a bright future.

Love to see Khedira in Arsenal but why Remy? Campbel, Walcot, Chambalin, Gnabry, are there for us. All we need is a good and strong point man to compete with Giroud and to strengthen our attack.
