If reports are to be believed then Barcelona have been very decisive in the transfer market this summer.
They have identified their main target in Luis Suarez and actually done a deal for the player really quickly.
Reports in England over the weekend and today suggest that a fee has finally been agreed for the services of the world class international.
And even if Barcelona fans are going to have to wait until November to see their new man in action, he’s going to be worth the wait.
Because he was head and shoulders above anyone else in The Premier league last season and made football look like a computer game at times – such was the extravagance of some of his play. He’s a prolific goalscorer but also a scorer of great goals.
If Barcelona can keep him on the straight and narrow then they may well be looking at one of the best players in their history.
We don’t yet know for sure how long Neymar is going to be out, but it looks like a long-term injury, and this will make it even more important that Barcelona sign Suarez in the next couple of weeks.
The Daily Mail reports:
Luis Suarez to leave Liverpool for five-year deal at Barcelona after £63m figure agreed between clubs, according to Spain reports
And The Metro says:
Barcelona have reportedly closed a deal with both Liverpool and Luis Suarez over the Uruguayan’s £62.6 million summer move.
Let’s have another look at the lad in action. Barcelona fans: are you concerned that Suarez could lose the plot again or is it a risk worth taking?
