A report in Spanish media outlet Sport suggests that Barcelona have three more major targets on the horizon this summer. None of them will be easy to secure but you can imagine Barcelona being an altogether more frightening prospect with this trio in the side come autumn.
The Barca coach Luis Enrique Martinez, is very aware of the movements of the club to close its staff with three first-level additions considered priority: Juan Guillermo Cuadrado (Fiorentina), striker Luis Suarez (Liverpool) and Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain) are the three players who definitely fit the template of Luis Enrique.
The Suarez deal looks like most difficult of the three to complete. But, after the latest debacle at The World Cup, his current club may well allow him to leave this summer.
If the deal comes down to a simple question of cash then it’s all about how much Barcelona want him. Would they pay £80m? Not sure.
But players of this quality come along very rarely indeed and Barcelona should pay the extra cash in order to make the deal happen.
Marquinhos may be an even more important signing for a club which is desperately in need of more solidity at the back.
He may be young but he’s already an accomplished player with great composure and someone that Barcelona can rely on for a decade.
As for Cuadrado lots of clubs seem to be interested in signing the player but Barcelona is regularly seen as one of the most attractive places in the world to play football. So if they really want him we believe the deal can be done.
Let’s see Cuadrado in action. Barcelona fans: would these three additions bring La Liga back home?
