Arsenal

Arsenal now favourites to sign World Cup pass master according to bookie

Arsene-Wenger

Brilliant acquisition?

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has to be one of the most prudent Premier League coaches in terms of managing the purse strings.

He has often mongered doom, and rightly so, about the state of the modern game with money being thrown around like nobody’s and fees becoming ridiculously inflated.

He’s obviously been financially constrained by the building of the stadium too, but we wonder whether the signing of Mesut Ozil for £40m last summer was a one off or the sign of things to come.

We’d love to see Arsenal do it again. They don’t need lots of players – just a quality few. And Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal seems like the perfect addition this summer. But with crazy prices already being quoted, and a bidding war set to ensue with so many interested parties, we would imagine that Arsene may ultimately look elsewhere for value.

But Arsenal do need a central midfielder who can remain disciplined and let the others get forward at will without leaving the back door open – someone who can keep things ticking along from a deeper position.

And perhaps a more realistic target for this role is the very underrated Morgan Schneiderlin. Having forced his way into the France squad and team at The World Cup the Frenchman seems to be fulfilling his fantastic promise.

At 24, he’s a really classy midfielder who’s technically brilliant, but plays the game with beautiful simplicity. We think that he would be an excellent addition to the ever swelling French contingent at Arsenal.

Bet Victor have Arsenal as favourites to sign the player this summer if he does leave his current club at the short odds of 11/10.

Having been linked to the club already we think that this one could well happen.

Let’s see the lad in acton. Arsenal fans: keen?

Does Arsene Wenger (AW) know the transfer window is wide open? I prayed AW fails to win the FA cup so he departs from the Arsenal. “Sadly, AW creaked through and fluked the cup! With an FA to cover his little arse, that was bare for a decade, and a hefty new 3-year contract secured, AW is now emboldened in his nauseating stubbornness. He’s holed-up at Brazilian beaches as Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City, clubs that finished above Arsenal recruit new players. Man Utd, too, have stormed the transfer market and captured some decent players already! At Arsenal, the news, as usual, is about departures – this time, Bacary Sagna and a whole army of AW’s dead-wood. AW’s typical madness tells him that “quality” signings will suffice on transfer deadline night. An incurable zombie, he deludes that other clubs are insane (like him) to sale valuable players to Arsenal without time to replace them. AW, the shit-hole cannot even remember that it’s dead-line transfer gambling that yielded junk a.k.a Kim Kallstrom, Park Chu Young, Neves Denilson, Andre Santos….! AW, the senseless penis can’t realize that even a ‘Mesut Ozil’ serves Arsenal better by arriving early with time to adjust to the EPL. It’s repugnant to imagine that cunts like Ivan Gazidis have just handed dick-head AW another 3 years 2 screw-up the Arsenal.

no.no… arsenal have decent dm in arteta and flamini and good sriker in Giroud. heard that Joel cambell planning to return to arsenal. Walcott also be available next season. we don’t want any new players in these departments… we only need a left back, a goal keeper and a young cb (if only verminator goes).
