Juventus in major bid with a second signing close – report

Real don't want Pogba - for now

Bid reported

Juventus aren’t short in the attacking department but it seems that they have made another striker their top priority for the summer transfer window.

Latest reports suggest that they have made a €20 million bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

Hellbent on signing the player, they’ve also offered Real Madrid the chance to insert a €25 million buyback clause into any contract that they agree to. Marca says:

Juventus are not taking no for an answer as far as Álvaro Morata is concerned, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, have handed in a final offer of €20 million for the Real Madrid youth player.

Another player who Juventus are apparently keen on, according to the same report, is Juan Iturbe. He’s been linked to several clubs over the last few months and he looks like one of the best young players in Europe. The report continues:

Morata is not the only player in Juve’s sights, as the Argentine player Iturbe is also on their wanted list – as he is on Real’s. The Italians look to be close to signing the player.

The 21 year old forward has had a brilliant season on loan from Porto to River Plate, scoring 3 times in 17 exciting league performances for the club. He is said to be near to joining Juventus on a permanent basis.

Let’s have a look at Iturbe in action. Juventus fans: would either or both of these signings represent the perfect additions to the squad?
