Please don’t try to get in his way. Because Brendan Rodgers is a man on a mission. He has a look on his face right now which says ‘I’m a decent, respectful guy, but don’t get in my way, or I’ll punch you in the nose and then sue you for damaging my fist.’
It’s amazing the difference a year can make isn’t it? After a slow start few, if any, Liverpool fans would want anyone else in charge.
Liverpool will be making plans for next season despite the excitement of this campaign and the club has today been linked with a move for a Serie A midfielder. Talksport reported today:
Manchester United and Liverpool are among a quartet of clubs looking to scupper Lazio’s bid to keep Antonio Candreva at the Stadio Olimpico.
Sources in Italy claim the former Ternana man, whose is aware of interest in his services, will seek a pay-rise of around £750,000 a-year to remain at Lazio – and that could encourage United and Liverpool to firm up their interest with a bid in the summer transfer window.
We think that Manchester United will look to splurge at the top end of the market this summer in a bid to find a quick fix solution to the malaise at Old Trafford. Brendan Rodgers, however, is a much more canny operator. He put a bid in for Diego Costa before he became a household name and has made several sensational signings that haven’t cost the earth.
Candreva, who plays for Lazio, has scored 8 times in 30 games this season and loves to arrive late into the box. He’s known as ‘Il Timido’ for his understated style of play – a goalscoring version of Micheal Carrick if you will.
Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Liverpool fans – would you like to see Rodgers buy in some established class or continue to sign youngsters with fire in their bellies and a hunger to improve?

I don’t get it if some want borini, assaidi, aspas, toure, coates or kelly out but asking for allen, enrique and most importantly agger out is next to madness
Well for you all information agger was around during the benitez era in the champions league and has a lot of experience in tha competition
For all the players you mentioned were are their respective clubs at in the champions league, what are their records in the champions league with their teams,
Nothing, nowhere can their club be found no impact at all, they are just addition that could end up been a mega flop.
