Arsenal find another absolute gem – report

Arsenal are still in the title race, despite the opinions of some. A week is a long time in football and we could see a complete change of fortunes over the next few fixtures.

But the season has again illustrated that Arsenal need to strengthen. They need a new striker, a midfield general and another monster of a centre back in the Adams/Campbell mould. But another area of potential weakness is at right back where Bacary Sagna’s future looks increasingly clouded. For our money he’s already starting to pack his bags for one last massive pay day which will allow him to buy that 2nd yacht in his long retirement.

Reports today suggest that Arsenal have found potential replacement for the Frenchman who can provide Carl Jenkinson with some serious competition next season.

We say that ITV say that The Sun says that:

Premier League trio Arsenal, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all ready to make a move for Toulouse full-back Serge Aurier, who is only 21 years old (Sun)

An Arsenal fan as a child the 19 year old was born in The Ivory Coast but has French citizenship. He played 50 games for Lens between 2009-2012 proving that if you are good enough you are old enough. He then moved to Toulouse where he has become a regular in the team with over 60 appearances for the club. He’s also showed a really natural eye for goal with 5 strikes in that time. If anything he looks like a more attacking version of Sagna. Happy days….. 7 caps for The Ivory Coast national side already show that this lad is the real deal.

Let’s take a look at him in action. CLICK FOR AURIER
