Manchester United: The 2 perfect deadline day additions

The Theatre Of Dreams

Get your cash out Moyes

Based on their most recent performance Manchester United still need to invest heavily before the end of January, if they want to compete for top four place in The Premier League this season.

Too obvious areas of which lack depth are the centre of midfield and a the left-fullback position.

The fact that David Moyes has let another left back, Fabio, to leave the club would perhaps imply that a replacement is in the pipeline. We have heard all sorts of speculation about Fabio Coentrao coming in, but any deal for this player seems to have stalled.

If Manchester United can bring in these two stars before the end of the window they will give themselves a great chance of qualifying for The Champions League.

Toni Kroos – this guy is that tailor-made answer to Manchester United’s midfield crisis. He is exactly the sort of dominating Boxster box influence that could be the trigger for a more coherent and successful Manchester United team in the second half of the season. There is no more room for error at Old Trafford. Manchester United need to show title form between now and May if they want to get into The Champions League next season. This guy could be the difference between success and failure.

Luke Shaw – he would cost a lot of money to sign but it makes so much more sense than bringing in Baines or Coentrao. If we were running things at Manchester United we would give Patrice Evra one more year at the club and sign up Luke Shaw. The youngster could spend the season learning from the master before taking up the reins as Manchester United’s main left back. And what a left back this guy would be for Manchester United. He’s got pace power and a great delivery. He would undoubtedly nail down the position for a good decade.

Fair enough. However in this case it comes down to absolute need. Demand for a player like Kroos at trafford could not be higher. Given he only has 12 months left and is not signing a new deal , we won’t pay too much. 17-20 max. Luke shaw , no chance .
