How times have changed. Just over a year ago Manchester United came in to pinch RvP from that selling club Arsenal. A club who seemed incapable of keeping any of their top players and on an interminable downward spiral.
Just over 12 months later, title chasers Arsenal are reportedly looking to take one of Manchester United’s brighter stars as the Champions plumb new depths each week.
It’s a funny old game. But reports today suggest that Arsenal will try their luck at prising Javier Hernandez from Old Trafford.
Arsenal or Tottenham could make a move for Javier Hernández, who is in the worst position of all as United don’t really want to sell him and don’t really want to play him.
Tottenham have been persistently linked with Mexican speedster but, you would imagine, he would also be a great option for Arsenal. He’s mobile, athletic and a brilliant poacher. He rarely gets injured and he’s a real team player with a very good attitude.
The player himself might feel that he would be stepping from one situation into another very similar one at Arsenal. He could just as easily find himself playing second fiddle to Olivier Giroud at The Emirates. But Manchester United have a far stronger forward line and competition for places is more fierce. So, if Hernandez wants more game time, perhaps Arsenal would represent an exciting move.
Let’s see the boy in action. Arsenal fans, does this guy boil your potatoes?
