Spanish star favourites with bookie to join Liverpool

It’s going to be a crazy summer in the transfer market people – and not least at Liverpool, where the exciting rebuilding process continues. Liverpool fans seem to have been waiting for an eternity for that process to near a conclusion but things are certainly looking up as far as we can see. Brendan Rodgers is buying young stars like Sturridge and Coutinho – players who are already making a difference and should have a massive impact on the future of the club.

One of the latest players to be linked with a move to Liverpool is Barcelona youngster Cristian Tello. A couple of weeks ago The Mirror mooted a swap deal involving Pepe Reina, but talk of the keeper’s departure seems to have cooled of late, with Reina suggesting that he may well stay at Liverpool.

But SkyBet have installed Liverpool as favourites for Tello’s signature and he certainly seems to fit the template of Rodger’s purchase. He’s young, quick and technically gifted. Plus he can play anywhere across the front line. He isn’t getting enough of a look in at Barcelona but still has a decent return of 10 goals in the 37 games in which he has featured. Quite how Barca manage to produce so many fine youngsters is a total mystery to us. But they keep churning them out like there is no tomorrow and, happily for every other club, they can’t ALL play for The Catalan magicians.

If Liverpool could snare Tello he would represent an excellent and low risk bit of business. For even if he didn’t ultimately fit in at Anfield, Liverpool would still get most of their investment back if they sold him on, such is the talent of the lad.

We know you Liverpool fans aren’t mugs, so we will leave you to make up your own minds about Tello. Would he fit in at Liverpool? Click the link below and have a butchers.
