Liverpool

How Liverpool could line up next season

Liverpool are starting to look like a team again under the studied guidance of Brendan Rodgers. But the club is obviously still in transition and there are many issues to sort out before the footy kicks off again in autumn.

Chief among those is the future of Luis Suarez. As a neutral, I have to say that, the Uruguyan seems to cause Liverpool more harm than good. For a club which is so heavily based on an honourable reputation, Suarez looks totally out of place. I know that Liverpool fans are naturally torn because he is such a top player. But, his comments yesterday, may further rile fans who respect loyalty.

“I’ve talked to my agent, there’s nothing concrete. To say no to Madrid would always be difficult and more so with the team they have. I have a contract with Liverpool, but it would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid. There are a lot of rumours in the transfer period, but you never know until firm offers are made.

“I’ve talked to the coach, and he knows what I want. He was a player. Some of the players understand my situation – enough said.”Begovic, Wisdom, Papadopoulos, Agger, Johnson, Lucas, Gerrard, Coutinho, Ben Arfa, Sturridge, Aspas

Suares is a already cooked player that has understand d EPL very well. Let 4get abt his issues he had. Even if club want to cash on him, i think after next season would av been better to let him go bcos his present on d pitch cant be underestimated

Weak midfield. Lacks physical intent. Teams like Spurs or Man City would bulldoze Liverpool midfield. Lucas or if Liverpool sign a DM will be in that midfield 3. Lucas/Gerrard/Mkjitaryan is more balanced.

    …aspas/coutinho, mrkyteryan, suares.
    ………….sturridge.
In a 4-5-1 formation. I guess its ok.
