Manchester City players have been under the microscope recently for some dodgy driving. In the last six months three Manchester city players, Samir Nasri Carlos Tevez and Micah Richards have been punished for various driving misdemeanours. But this doesn’t compare with Real Madrid and ex-Everton player Royston Drenthe who was seemingly filmed by his friend, driving at break-neck speeds in his Ferrari, around a built up area.
The Dutch player, who has never really settled at any club despite his superb potential, is currently plying his trade at Russian club Alania. This Youtube clip apparently shows Drenthe, showing us all what his motor can do without a seatbelt and drinking what could be a can of lager. It really does look like a huge amount of fun, but quite what his club is going to think about this is a different matter.
All we can say is that if it happened whilst he was playing for Manchester City the recriminations would be very heavy indeed.
