Lots of Liverpool rumours over the last 24 hours so let’s get down to it.
Liverpool-kop.com says that Brendan Rodgers’ ‘favourite’ player could be on the move. Real Betis playmaker Benat Extebarria, has a 20m Euro clause in his contract and negotiations over a new deal are up in the air.
The same source says that a deal for the previously tracked Kevin Gameiro of PSG, could be re-ignited in the summer. French outlet L’Equippe says:
‘According to our information, Kevin Gameiro is still wanted by Liverpool.’
Meanwhile, Italian media outlet Calciomercato is running with a story about another PSG player Jeremy Menez potentially coming to Liverpool. He was linked with the club before he moved to the Champions League quarter finalists and despite playing well for the league leaders Liverpool reportedly think that a deal may be possible.
Finally, Sky reports that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers ran the rule over trialist Daniel Carr as he turned out for the U21s in the game against West Ham on Monday evening. The striker, who has scored 23 goals in as many games for Ryman League Division One South side Dulwich Hamlet this season will be hoping to make his mark at the club. The 18 year old failed to get on the scoresheet as he played for an hour of a 3-3 draw.
That’s it for now. As you were.
