Manchester United – Superstar coming to England

The speculation as to which club Eden Hazard will join next season will continue for a while yet but he has at least narrowed down the options by confirming that he will play in England next season. Extremely exciting news for the Premier League as this guy is a genuinely exceptional footballer.

The Guardian reports that Hazard was instrumental in the defeat of Carlo Ancelotti’s PSG at the weekend, scoring the equaliser from the spot. The newspaper also confirmed that Patrick Viera and Martin Ferguson (brother of Sir Alex and scout for Manchester United) were in attendance.

“I want to play in England [next season]. That’s what I’ve decided,” said Hazard after the game.

Other English clubs have reportedly shown an interest but I would be surprised if Hazard went to a club from outside Manchester as these two giants seem to be be the most serious about signing the splendid youth and have both recently used the media to publicly state their desire to land him.

Sir Alex recently said,

“I came to watch Lille play Lyon and followed Hazard of course, along with other players.

“He is a very good player who has many qualities. He is particularly fast over the first 10 yards.”

and Mr.Mancini also got involved in the public courting

“I like Hazard a lot. He’s a good player, he’s young and he would do great things in our team. Given his technical qualities City would be the perfect destination for him.”

Another titanic battle between the Manchester clubs to ensue then – and one that is most certainly worth fighting as Hazard would become a huge player for either club.
