We all love a bit of transfer speculation, especially when it comes to attacking talents. According to the Guardian rumour mill, Sampdoria’s dazzlingly fast French winger Jonathan Biabiany has piqued the interest of the top brass at Anfield.
I, for one, think Liverpool could do with extra quality in the wide areas and pace is the most priceless of qualities in the modern game.
If nothing else, Biabiany certainly has speed to burn. He also looks as if he has an eye for goal and a decent touch. He is still only in his early twenties so he could be a low risk investment and would have some sell on value even if he did fail at Anfield. Amidst the mass of transfer conjecture that we get on a daily basis, this guy looks like he could do the business. Pace to burn I tell thee. Pace to burn…..

I agree we are in need of some pace and quality on the right, but pace without quality ala Cisse just wont do. I’ve got to say Lavezzi looked a real handful tonight 1st time I’ve seen him play after all the rumours.
