After the shock announcement of Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement as Manchester United manager, the press have moved quickly to install David Moyes as the red hot favourite to take control at Old Trafford.
While we at soccersweep still believe that this will be the case, outgoing Manchester United chief executive David Gill has perhaps thrown us all off the scent, by implying that the next manager will need European experience. Gill told Manchester United’s official club channel:
“We have to look forward now and I think any manager coming in will inherit a great squad and great staff around him. It is a dream job. I won’t speculate on the announcement but I think we will move relatively quickly,”
“In Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex we got in managers who got involved in all aspects of the club. That degree of loyalty is crucial to the success of Manchester United. He (the next manager) needs the required football experience in terms of domestic and European requirements, so it is a small pool.”
So, Manchester United fans, is the Moyes appointment a formality or does he lack the crucial European experience for the job? Is it going to be Mourinho after all?

Mourinho is the right successor of Sir Alex, no one else, because he has the criteria of being Man United Manager, because he has the required football experience both domestic and European requirements.
pls let us not make mistake that we will regret at last

Moyes will not make it due to European exposure. To me you will be surprised to see a manager not in media now. Wait for koop (borrusia) coach.
