Whether these rumours have substance or are just another summer way to generate summer newspaper sales, ex-Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo is the subject of transfer speculation again – this time the apparent suitors are PSG who are ready to shell out mega bucks to bring The protuguese international to France. Marca reports:
PSG offer €125 million for Ronaldo
At 30 year soft age you have to say that Ronaldo could still command a world class fee. Furthermore he hasn’t looked at his happiest this season, despite once more bagging over 50 goals – in fact his total stands at a staggering 61 for this season. Real Madrid looked unbeatable before Christmas but something went wrong and questions will be asked about whether this is the squad to win another Champions League or whether it needs tearing up.
With their new sponsorship deal with Adidas Manchester United seem more cash rich than ever and they would surely be interested if the lad did express a desire to move. Even at those astronomical prices Manchester United would feel that there was value in the deal – not least because of the marketing pull of such a player.
FINAL WORD: It looks as if we could be in for another summer of Ronaldo rumours. Manchester United would possibly bid if he did become available but we feel that he is more likely to spend two more years in Spain and then try another league – perhaps MLS.
Let’s see some of his highlights from this season. Manchester United fans: could the prodigal return this summer?

If it’s other people’s money, you can waste it too. 120 million Euros for a fading, aging star….?….??
