Perhaps in an attempt to butter up the lad ahead of a loan move ex-Mancnester United boss David Moyes has likened Adnan Januzaj to Dutch legend Johan Cruyff.
Moyes has been quoted as saying of the lad:
“He’s a wonderfully gifted player with great balance and the ability to go past people.
“When I see his poise on the ball, he has characteristics of Johan Cruyff.”
The Real Sociedad manager may be looking for some loanees from The Premier League and is a big fan of Adnan.
After a blistering start to his senior Manchester United career last season Januzaj’s opportunities in the first team have been limited in this campaign as his progress has stalled to a degree. Januzaj did get a three game run in the side in late autumn but he failed to make a mark and has been largely left on the bench since.
Few would doubt the quality of this lad and he will surely make his mark in the team given time. But he may actually be allowed to go out on loan for the rest of the season to get some much needed game time which he may not receive at Manchester United. David Moyes’ overtures may be a prelude to a short stint in Spain.
We think that he should stay at Manchester United and fight for his place. But he may see a loan deal as preferable at this point.
Let’s see some of his better moments. Manchester United fans: loan out or keep?
