The worst thing about having the best club side of all time is that there is only one way to go.
While Barcelona are still periodically bewitching, it may be years before they have the power and unity of the all-conquering sides of the last 5-7 years.
But they are still a super team and they still have Lionel Messi near his best.
Barcelona eased through their Champions League group as winners after a defeat of PSG in the Camp Nou on Wednesday. And that top place finish looks to have put them in a great position going into the next round.
An insightful graphic doing the rounds suggests that Barcelona are most likely to meet Schalke in the next round (19%) and the chances of them meeting German opposition are high (37%).
They could still get a nasty draw however. The worst case scenario has to be Manchester City. Barcelona have a 14.6% chance of meeting the big spenders in the next round.
But it’s looking pretty straightforward for Barca in relation to the first knockout round, with the other possible opponents, Arsenal, Juventus, Shaktar and Basel.
While Barca aren’t quite in their pomp, you would have to fancy them to beat any of this lot over two legs.
