Danny Welbeck is not expected to make a decision on his future until the end of the season.
The Arsene Wenger situation may well have a bearing on whether the striker stays or goes, but it appears he is already in demand.
The Daily Mail report that Turkish side Galatasaray are hoping to sign the former Manchester United star for £16million – which is the same fee Arsenal paid the Red Devils.
Injuries have wreaked havoc with the England international’s progress at the Emirates.
It has also left Wenger in a difficult position, with the Gunners boss seemingly reluctant to sign top strikers because he always had Welbeck as an option when fit.
The same source claims that Galatasaray have the funds to pay the 26-year-old decent money, but that he is going to be hesitant because of the ongoing political problems in Turkey.
Should a deal for Welbeck fail to materialise, Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen – who has scored just once in the Premier League from open play – is being looked at as another option.
