Lyon starlet Corentin Tolisso has admitted he would love to move to Arsenal.
The 22-year-old has told the Mirror that he thinks he’d be the perfect fit for the Gunners, with the Premier League suiting his style of play.
“Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal,” he said.
“I like the Premier League and I think I am well suited to it. It is the league that offers the most competition, it is the most open, the most hard-fought and the most spectacular.”
Tolisso has established himself at Lyon over the last three years, but it seems his time in Ligue 1 could almost be up judging by these comments.
In fact, he came close to leaving in the summer, with Serie A runners-up Napoli courting him.
He opted for one more season at Lyon, but the weakness of the French league could mean that he’ll up sticks so he can test himself elsewhere.
With five goals already this season in just 11 games, he’s certainly an attractive proposition.
The France under-21 international would no doubt settle well at Arsenal, too, with the club’s strong French contingent consisting of the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud.
Tolisso can play either in central midfield or at right-back, and the latter could be particularly useful for Arsenal – especially if they lose Hector Bellerin to Barcelona.
